This one was a bit of a last minute thing last May, but celebrating a birthday without a cake would not be right for my nephew… or my mother… or me. ;) Stripes hardly need an inspiration source, but the colour combo came from a striped pillow I had pinned long ago. The poppies are more fantasy than reality, but loved playing around with the wafer to see what I could come up with. Next time, I will try gumpaste! Thanks for looking. :)
