Made in recognition of Fairtrade Fortnight, using Squires sugarpaste, the only Fairtrade sugarpaste available in the UK. 752(!) individually cut and placed squares in a rainbow, with a high shine edible lacquer finish. Such a happy cake to make, even though it was quite tricky! I had some fun with the photography too and was blessed with a beautiful sunny morning so took the cake al fresco (and may have got a bit carried away)!
