If there was EVER a cake subject that is right in my wheelhouse—-as the Cakes ROCK!!! Rock ‘n’ Roll Cake Diva—-it’s the 80’s!!! I am SUCH an 80’s rocker chick & still stuck in a time warp. LOL! So when I got this order I was Dancing on the Ceiling!

The Rubik’s cube is styrofoam inside with all edible decor. I just HAD to make it defy a little bit of gravity. The cassette tape is gumpaste with edible image label, Michael Jackson’s glove is fondant, the logos on the front are modeling chocolate, & the rest of the decor is edible images over fondant. The board is all edible as well.

The main cake is Red Velvet with White chocolate buttercream filling & dark chocolate ganache. I airbrushed it the fun electric green & the zebra print is stenciled royal icing. So in my best Valley Girl voice: “OHMYGAWD! It’s like soooooooooo totally tubular!”

I found this in my research & thought it was hilarious. How true is this? I want my (original) MTV!!!
