My last cake of the year and definitely my favourite! An Art Deco themed cake based on a series of greeting cards that the recipient is fond of. The lady is painted on to hand cut fondant, the majority of her decoration is edible being made from wafer paper, fondant and Isomalt. With the addition of some real beading she was designed to be removed from the cake as keepsake. The Gold lace detailing and panels on the cake were all edible.
