My first Gravity Defying Cake “Lady Cosmos”
This was a totally new experience for me.
I chose to use Ricepaper (not waferpaper!), for the silky effect of her dress.
The problem with ricepaper is that modeling choclate and fondant will melt if the rice paper has not dried completely (there was a moment when I wanted to throw the cake in the bin, but I counted till 10 .. lol). Second problem with ricepaper is that it shrinks, so you have to estimate where you put the ricepaper! Luckily it came out pretty good!
The lady is entirely made of modeling choclate. The cake is an eggless vanilla cake, with ganache and covered with sugarpaste. I hope you like her!!! Thank you so much <3
