This was cake made for a collaboration of birthday cakes for a lovely decorator named Betty. Several of my cake decorating colleagues on another cake site posted our tribute buttercream piped cakes today in honour of her birthday…to try and show Betty how much her cakes have inspired us, and show her how we are all motivated to improve our piping skills by looking at her wonderful cakes. Betty makes the most awesome piped buttercream cakes with amazing piping and bc flowers. Working in buttercream is definitely a art!!! One of which I need much practice….think I’ll stick to fondant….. 😊
