The design on the bottom tiers of this cake was an accident. The slanted ruffle design happened because i couldn’t for the life of me get upwards ruffles to work due to shoulder issues and my daughter suggested the upward slant and then, there ya go. The cascading silver dragee tier happened by accident because the rouching i wanted to do on that tier was not evening out and i didn’t like it, it was looking too heavy, so i had the jar of dragees out on the counter from a consult…so there ya go, that was that tier! The silver leaf punch and silver tier came out exactly how i wanted it to, so yeah!

And this has got to be the smoothest my buttercream EVER has been! I am super happy with those two tiers!! :)

it works perfectly!!! well done!! I know how it is working with injury… my right hand is recovering from an operation… but managing to get by with a few shortcuts along the way… :) xxx

You must never limit your challenges, instead you must challenge your limits

Thanks Calli and Beth! Hope you heal fast Calli, my shoulder surgery was 5 years ago, and sometimes holding my arm a certain way burns as did that angle did originally! Lowered the cake to the table too instead of the counter and that helped!
