Megan is a textile design teacher so we had lots of ideas for her cake. She wanted lace, ruffling, gold, pearls and her floral colour scheme to be included so this was the design that I came up with, I’ve included my original sketch in the images too to show the comparison. I hadn’t included colour in the sketch because at the time Megan hadn’t decided on the flowers she was going for.
