This is the Travel Cake in more ways than one.
It traveled from N.Ireland to London where thankfully it arrived in perfect condition.
I was asked to feature Big Ben,a Japanese Temple, The Marina Bay Sands Hotel and the Trans America building San Francisco along with sail boats and water.
I did rub my head as how to bring together a design that would also travel safely and withstand the journey.

Oh my goodness Noreen, this is fantastic!!! The top especially is stunning but of course all the images around the side are wonderful too. Did you use gumpaste, modelling paste or straight fondant for the images around the side, if you don’t mind me asking? :-)

Wow Noreen, that is some detail, I bet it took ages, great cake
