That was my first flower cake, for my mother´s birthday. It was for 60 people so it was huge and with two tiers. She adores the calla flower, so do I. She asked me to make a Calla´s Bouquet Cake with a violet laze wrapping them. The flowers and leaves are made with gum paste, the rest of the cake with fondant.
It´s a cherry, apple and strawberry sponge with cheese buttercream layers and with caramelized apple layers.
