Looking for inspiration from fashion designs is an inspiring work. I’ve always bought fashion-related magazines and since becoming a cake decorator, it’s like a source of news feeds to my cake mind!!!This cake was inspired by a Chanel colorful painted effect design I saw on an ELLE issue. My kids asked to paint it, but when they finished the bottom tier, I decided to leave the top tier, which was initially meant to replicate the crop top of the original Chanel design, white with just some dash of paint on the ruffles.
Just add a few gum paste pearls and camellias to highlight the soul of Chanel!
