I made this a week before mothers day for Eirini. A very reserved mother of three!
It was kind of a last minute order from a previous customer who takes cakes for her whole family.
She called me for this cake but said it was to make the family happy and did not care much to celebrate her birthday!
Did not want it fancy and insisted I kept it simple. She was too shy to give herself any attention by celebrating her birthday.
But I changed that.. … Having known that she likes lace I quickly put this together. Tried to keep it simple! I think the David Austin melted her heart totally. She was so happy to receive her cake.
I love my job even more at times like this.
