A cake to celebrate ten years of life with my amazingly creative, artistic, free-spirited, athletic, short tempered, bookish, beautiful daughter. Celebrated in the traditional style – with a cake that was destined to be so much more but had to be simplified (a lot) to allow it to be finished in time. She’s going to be a writer and illustrator (amongst other things) so a pop-up book cake made of chocolate fridge cake is what she wanted.
