The inspiration came from a favourite story from my childhood, “Snow White and Rose Red”. My mother used to say that I was Rose Red (I had very dark, almost black hair), but as I got my first grey hair when I was only sixteen I am now Snow White (I prefer silver!) !

The red roses are made with sugarpaste, the white one with flower paste.
