This cake was made for a 40th Birthday and its one of my favourites so far. Ive made several cakes with different delicate ruffle styles and thought it would make a nice change to try a different angle rather than the horizontal or rose design. The flowers were Roses, Ranunculus, ranunculus buds and hydrangeas. Inside the cakes were chocolate fudge with chocolate fudge buttercream and dark chocolate ganache and Madagascan vanilla with buttercream and raspberry jam.
