It’s been ages since I made a cake just because I wanted to so I really enjoyed making this . It was my first attempt at ruffles so could do with some more practice as they were not as fine as I would like but I really liked the effect . I made this for my husband for valentines day , he often helps me out with structure and making sure things are level (all the manly thing lol ) The cake was chocolate fudge with belgian chocolate buttercream . I actually wrote on the cake but took pictures before hand so that it didn’t look too soppy !! Happy valentines day to you all lots of love Lisa
