I did these doves some time ago on a heart shaped cake for a wedding anniversary, following a tutorial I found in a book entitled ‘Bas Relief & Applique’ by Lesley Herbert. I have wanted to redo them for quite some time but wanted to update the look to make the cake more contemporary so I designed this two tier cake. I included the heart on the top tier so that the theme is relevant to the occasion.
