Hi, my name is Heidi and I am the proud owner of ‘Cute Little Cupcakes’ based in Norwich, Norfolk. After school I trained & qualified as a professional chef before heading off to London to do my apprenticeship. It was whilst I was working in the 5* hotels on Park Lane that I fell in love with the Pastry Section of the kitchen. I loved the clean lines & the preciseness of the patisserie and decided to stay & specialise in this field.
On returning to Norfolk my career path changed and I went from working behind the scenes in the kitchen to the ‘front of house’ working as a licensee until 2003.
In 2003 I joined my husband as co-Director assisting him with the running of his successful security company which specialises in events, corporate hospitality and personal security. I still enjoyed my home baking but I found myself missing the creativity of my early days in London so I made the decision that as I already worked from home, how perfect would it be to start a new baking business all under the same roof!
In 2010 ‘Cute Little Cupcakes’ was born and I love juggling my world between security & cupcakes! Cute Little Cupcakes has gone from strength to strength & because every order is different I still get a huge buzz from designing and creating through to seeing customer’s faces when they see their finished cake for the first time!
