lol, that made me laugh Rae! :) My ‘hate’ is making figures!! Especially if it’s for a wedding cake. I’m getting slightly better but they still look like they’re a little deformed!!

Cleaning (CLEANING!) during and after…Takes more time than baking and decorating I think lol.

Yep I’m in the “I Hate clean up” boat too :-(

also (and I know this isn’t EXACTLY cake decorating BUT) why does the phone always ring while I’ve got my hands saturated in Crisco? Or why does the FedEx/UPS guy ALWAYS show up while I’m in the middle of rolling out a large amount of fondant????????

LOL – I can see myself in all of those situations – especially the phone ringing when I’m in the middle of “fixing” something I messed up on the cake and I’m all frustrated… I LOVE cake decorating – but I can’t stand the clean up afterwards – no matter how NEAT I try to be, I end up with a combination of flour, buttercream and Royal icing everywhere… how do I manage to be so consistant? I have black granite tops in my kitchen and every speck shows like neon lights… imagine that! :)))))

hahaha I agree with almost all of you…”clean-up” after making the cake it’s a mess in my kitches :s
And i also hated to treat with irresponsable people… :P
And I hated to do stripes on cake, i really dont know how to do them…

I hate cleaning up, baking and separating eggs!!

I would much rather be the decorator and have another person bake the cakes!!

I am the messiest egg separator in the WORLD! It doesn’t matter if I use a tool to separate eggs or do it the old fashioned way, shells always end up in the yolk or the yold ends up everywhere but the bowl!! Ugh!!

Definitely the cleaning up, and lint I HATE!!! X
