I work full time with exceptional children. Children with Autism have a special place in my heart. I bake part time, which is now turning into two full time jobs. Years ago, I found a quote on a classroom wall, "Find a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life". I love both of my jobs.

I apprenticed as a baker 25 years ago. My whole life, I have been been called, "creative, artistic and crafty". I have been able to merge both of my crafts which puts me in my happy place. I have realized how important it is to celebrate the high points in life. I get to see people at their best, Birthdays, Weddings, Baby Showers, Graduations, It's awesome!

I get lost in cake. I could spend hours working on one cake and never realize how much time I passed until my husband calls and says, "When will you be home?"
It's always an hour to an hour and a half later then I tell him, Lol!

Now that my son is married, and my daughter off to college, I am really enjoying this season of my life. My husband also bakes and we hope to open a bakery soon.

Psalm 127:1 Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain.
