Celebration Cakes by Cathy Hill

I've grown up with a love of baking from watching my mum making mine and my sisters, and many friends and families cakes too. I used to watch in awe as she would create something new!

It started off as a hobby back in 1997 and like many of us, got the bug.

I started going to night class one evening a week and did that for about 8 years. It was after many deliberations and having my second child that I decided to try it as a business.

I work from home so my kitchen and poor family suffer from the numerous amounts and ever growing collection of equipment that takes over!!

My dining table is now my work bench but I can honestly say that I love what I do!! : )

I've been in business now for 5 years and have a steady client list with many people returning for more and more cakes and the majority of new business comes from recommendations which as we all know is the best (and cheapest) form of advertising.

I have a bit of a daft sense of humour and love a good laugh, ooh and I also love to talk!! well who doesn't, I do think sometimes I get a little carried away when i'm discussing new ideas with people and I get slightly over excited.
