The Pink Cake Box Tutorials #2: Tappit letter sets

I know most of you will be whizzes at these but for anyone still struggling here’s a little sequence of pictures I did for a friend who couldn’t work them..

Roll your fondant out thinly, push down with your cutter and wiggle it to get a clean cut, line it up against another row if letters and flick it back like a ruler, flicking in down onto the other row then the desired letter should come out nicely. Leave to set for a couple of mins then use xx

Thanks for sharing. I tried to use mine this weekend and gave up. Will give it another try.

Hey Rose, thanks a lot, these are always a hassle to a point that I dread sometimes if I am asked to do letters :-)

They can be a nightmare can’t they! Flick it like a ruler if you ever did that at school! Mine break quite often so I think I’m probably a bit too violent with them haha!! Had to do over 100 letter the other day of the pme smaller set…I think its pme..cant remember..anyway it was challenging at times! Little blighters wouldnt come out!

Thank you. I will try this. I have given up on these things and started referring to them as ‘darnits’
