I can’t tell you how much I have learned from the cake decorators who post their work and tutorials here and I want to thank you all!
From tutorials that give me an “Aha!” or a “Why didn’t I think of that?” moment to admiring and examining the photos of your work in minute detail and realising what I’m doing wrong or what I can change to improve my work.
You are inspiring and supportive and I thank you all for sharing.

Thanks so much for your lovley post….
One of the great things I find here (and on other social media sites I belong to) is the love and unity and sheer joy of creating and sharing our knowledge… Speaking for myself, I have been creating for more years than I care to mention, but in all that time, have never stopped learning, never stopped sharing knowledge, been constantly inspired by others, have countless mentors in the creative world that has opened my eyes to all kinds of mediums, techniques Etc.
I have been saying it for many years and still a firm advocate that we are ALL artists, we all can create and tap into our creative inner spirit… I have taught people who swore they could not draw a stick figure and have gone on to be confident and creatively successful…
I’m so pleased you posted this as I agree and thank you too… As I say, we share the joy of creative confection … It is such a happy, positive and giving hobby (for some) and business (like me and others).

I couldn’t agree more with you! As a hobby baker it’s lovely to have so many tutorials, tips and pictures of amazing cakes to show what can be done. I’m always amazed at what you can find on this site and just by googling “how do I…..” and all put there by amazingly talented people who are willing to share their skills and knowledge. I never underestimate the time it takes to put many of these together – and time being so precious nowadays, this is perhaps one of the greatest gifts that can be given. So I would like to join you in thanking everyone for their time and sharing too x
