I got to make this cake for a wedding on saturday! The bride didn’t want the cakes to be covered in fondant so the hearts are straight onto the white chocolate ganache. I worked out that there were 686 hearts in total! 6-7 hours of work just on the hearts alone, that included mixing the fondant for each shade!
This is not my original design, the photo she had had no watermark on it – so I don’t know who’s it is! The brides flowers were a mix of white, light pink & hot pink – so she wanted the ombre colours to match.
She supplied the cake topper which added a lovely original touch :)
cakes were 8" dark choc mud cake, 6" white choc mud & 4" caramel mud cake :)
