The design of the cake is based on Royal Bakery’s ever famous bear christening cake. I wanted to make it somewhat mine with a little twist and Trang (Khang’s mother) and I combined elements of what she loved about Lesley’s cake and came up with a totally new cake. Cupcake toppers to match, of course. Cake is Chocolate fudge with strawberry buttercream filling, covered in milk chocolate ganache (my new favorite) and fondant with gumpaste accents. I love how it all came together in the dessert table. :)
