Grandma celebrated her 80th birthday last week. As grandma is a humble lady who has saved her pennys all her life and always puts herself last! She raised 6 kids on a very small budget and helps us with every thing at home. She even does all of the laundry and delivers custard squares around town to the local cafes! A trooper!
So I wanted to make a special cake for her! Hence the gold Leaf! All flowers are sugar. Some were damaged but by placing them together I could hide it.
The cakes are chocolate fudge for all the grand kids and passionfruit gateau for grandma with italian meringue buttercream! Her favourite!
