This was a stressful topper to attempt. The 3D White Tiger topper was made from cereal treats and covered/detailed in fondant. I worried because it was to be white, that the bumpiness I normally get when using cereal treats (no matter how thick I slathered the buttercream) would show easily.

This was one of the first large toppers I made (using cereal treats) where I didn’t have bumpiness showing through because I thought why not try and flatten the bumps on the surface before buttercreaming, and see if that would help. So I rolled all the pieces around on my granite countertop, applying a bit of pressure, and it worked! I then buttercreamed, covered and detailed the pieces as per usual. The stripes were handpainted with a very wide brush and feathered on. TFL.
