I made this giraffe baby cake a few weeks ago to celebrate the birth of baby boy “Daniek”. I used knitting pattern for the bottom layer of the cake.

I LOVE IT!! I love the giraffe – he’s adorable. But I LOVE the bottom tier – it looks like a soft, cozy blanket. So sweet. I wonder if that’s hard to do – is it piped buttercream? I also love the buttons and bows :)
