Bird cakes seem to be quite a common theme at the moment, so I was happy to design something a little different for my client. Originally, I was just going to pop a little La La Bird on top, but decided to make a birdcage as a keepsake. Well, I am glad I did, because my client showed me a picture when she picked up the cake, of the individual little birdcages she had purchased to have as table centre-pieces!
