Baby Shower… “I’m sure that my Mommy and Daddy are going to take me on many sailing adventures…. can’t wait!”

I had always wanted to do a Cake, Cupcake and Cookie combo…. Finally!!! It was a blast. The cake design was provided by the client… achieving the darker blue was not easy. Very difficult finding navy blue… the decorations on the cupcakes were out of gumpaste, the navy turned out much nicer on the gumpaste, on the fondant had to stop adding because the consistency started to change… Need practice with colors… have to search for a good navy… If anyone knows of where I can get some, let me know :)

loved making this cake… it was for a special couple and a very special little sister…
