This is the old fashioned rose I made for a tutorial I am in the process of writing up. I made a couple for my sisters cake last year, I really struggled with this rose and trying to keep the petals flowing yet bunched together. After so many failed attempts trying to make them for Mandy’s cake I finally came up with my own technique and found much to my surprise it worked and was so easy.
