This was the other part of the wedding cake display of the recent intimate wedding of my eldest son.
The words “ad infinitum” is Latin for forevermore. This is engraved into their rings. How special is that. So this top heart is covered in fondant and then brush embroidered royal iced.
The cup cake tower I made myself from cake drums, ribbons and polystyrene seperators I covered in lace, ribbon and beads.
The cupcakes (72) were decorated in 6 different but linked designs and the flavours were carrot, sponge and chocolate.
The peony you will recognise as what I used on their cutting cake which I featured a few weeks ago.
It was a most magical and romantic day… The predominant feature that rang through it all was laughter and song and sincerity and unification… I was a very proud mummy indeed. Xxx
