I finally got a chance to fill a vase I have been saving for 15 years, with sugar flowers.
A gift we were given when we got engaged, I tried lots of flowers for it and this time around got some to work.
this was my entry for the Virtual Cake International this weekend and delighted to say I received a Silver Award as a result.
As always incredible entries online and a day filled with demonstrations, talent and all round fun.
I use @suzanneesper flower paste for this piece, as she was kind enough to send me a tub to test out.
I can tell you it is a super flower paste, works like a dream, rolls incredibly thin and dries so well, with no breakages, even on dropping 1 flower.
