My third carousel cake for the third of my grandchildren to celebrate his (first grandson) first birthday.
Basically the same structural design in all three with changes in colors, textures and patterns.
I used the same lace mat for both the bronze “lace” and for texturing the center pole, the board and the “1” plaque.
I love to put the cake on a large wooden lazy suzan and spin it for the babies who want nothing more than to pull off the horses :)
