Big Bass Birthday – 9/7/18 – 7 is a very important birthday!! This cake was made for a very special Bass fisherman who is turning the Big Seven. His grandma’s sister tracked me down from the other side of the country, and asked if there was any way I could help make this one magical. I actually had a lot of fun with this cake! The Birthday Confetti cake is supported under the throat and tail with an edible cradle of Magic Chocolate! Wow, right??! Fins are made from Caljava gumpaste. His grandma sent me a photo of the birthday boy with his cake – he showed us where the hook would come out and reportedly estimated his Big Birthday Bass as a “Four-Pounder”. Lolz and <3.
