New York Cake

This was for my Sister-in- laws 40th. Her present to herself was a trip to New York with a friend, she had just gone through a tough divorce so needed cheering up, I made the cake to match her trip. I am afraid some of the skyline is a little made up and just hand painted straight on to the cake. The apple has shellac to give it the shine.
