I loved making this cake as I got to make lots of hand painted sugar cut out animals! Three round tiers of chocolate cake airbrushed in gradients to look like the African Savannah with hand made and hand painted sugar cut out animals and hand cut acacia trees. Topped with a large (and heavy!) sugar paste acacia tree which required a support structure inside the top tier to keep it upright during the 60 mile journey into central London.
