The other day I spotted Blackberry Composition by Robert Haynes , which is beautiful ( do check it out if you like sugar floristry , it’s not to be missed), and decided that it’s time I tried my hand at making it.

I wanted to make it in Cold Porcelain but run out of Modena, so it is in sugar, and is reasonably sturdy, except for the calixes, they really don’t behave!

This one was a long and fiddly job, it’s taken me over 2 days, though I am very slow ( some of the foliage is out of the shot, though)
