My name is Cátia Buccimazza, but you may also know me as “The Bistro Cake Designer”. I am from Portugal. I was born in Coimbra but at this moment, I live in Mafra, a beautiful location near the sea and with a vast and important history. I am 35 years old and have a background in biotechnology. Two and a half years ago, I thought I should listen to my family and friends, and start selling cakes. In January 2015, I officially started my project. I have already been in some competitions and fairs.

Cricket came into my life when I started to date my husband, how could not fail to happen when you start a relationship with a federated player and European champion embraces the sport and the cause for the fight and the spread of cricket … Today cricket is a part of our lives, my kids love it and they are starting to take the first steps in cricket … soon it could not be my choice in a theme that focuses on sport and peace, because Culture of the game and all the environment around it and very different from what we know.

  O meu nome é Cátia Buccimazza, mas podem conhecer-me como “The Bistro Cake Designer”. Sou de Portugal. Nasci em Coimbra, mas neste momento, vivo em Mafra, um belo local perto do mar e com uma vasta e importante história. Tenho 35 anos e tenho formação em biotecnologia. Dois anos e meio atrás, eu pensei que deveria ouvir a minha família e amigos, e começar a vender bolos. Em janeiro de 2015, comecei oficialmente meu projeto. Eu já estive em algumas competições e feiras.

O cricket entrou na minha vida quando comecei a namorar o meu marido, como não podia deixar de acontecer quando começa uma relação com um jogador federado e campeão europeu abraça-se o desporto e a causa para a luta e a divulgação do cricket… hoje o cricket faz parte das nossas vidas, os meus filhos adoram e estão a começar a dar os primeiros passos no cricket… logo não podia deixar de ser a minha escolha num tema em que se foca no desporto e na paz, porque a cultura do jogo e todo o ambiente a sua volta é bem diferente do que conhecemos.
