Painted Shortbread Cookie that’s been royal iced and then painted with cocoa butter. I focused mainly on eyes to reflect the tropical environment they live in. I didn’t quite manage to finish it as I would have liked, and had originally planned a 3D version and gone as far as to build an armeture for it…. but time not on my side with commitments to fulfill till end December.

A bit of info on the Tarsier.
Tarsiers are primates (a group including lemurs, monkeys, apes and humans) found only in the islands of Southeast Asia. Tarsiers are arboreal (tree living)
The majority of Tarsier species are now endangered or threatened, and some are designated critically endangered. Threats include habitat destruction and fragmentation, hunting, agricultural pollutants and human disturbance. Tarsiers are very shy animals that prefer to stay away from human contact. Tarsiers do not live well in captivity. Some conservation efforts are under way for the various species, most notably the Philippine Tarsier.
