This is officially the biggest thing I have ever made.
It was such an honour to be asked and since I adored the Faraway tree books by Enid Blyton when I was a child, that seemed the perfect subject.

It was mostly hand carved polystyrene covered with renshaws sugarpaste, with some sections rice krispie treats and chocolate. The bed and table I made from MDF and wooden poles which I then iced with wood effects (except for the blanket and the sheet).

I wanted to say thank you to so so many people for being so kind with their comments both when they came to visit the feature, and also after the show. It is amazing to see so many people that are also fans of the books :)
