This creation is inspired from TAJ MAHAL PALACE HOTEL, Mumbai…. the beauty of the interiors inspired me to create this.
The marbled fondant is inspired by the generous use of marble and the colours of the fondant from the memorial stone. the hand painted gold lines for the various brass vases. the second tier is coloured gold with royal icing stenciling which is influenced by the golden jali pannels at the entrance, the white fondant madallion is inspired by the victorian style wall ornaments on the Grand Stair Case.. the sugar hydrangeas to represent the magnificient flower arrangements at every doorway. I have created the design which is modern with vintage accents as per the decor of the Taj which is an amalgamation of art and culture from all over the world..
