Adoption cake – A cake I made some weeks ago.
It was such a privilege to make this cake for this lovely family and to be part of their very special day. Debbie (the boys Mum) has become a good friend since I started making cakes for the family so when she asked me some weeks before the event if I could make a couple of Teddy models to represent ‘Father & Son’ we both agreed that they needed to be ‘male’ looking and I added the hearts at the front as a little extra touch to symbolise the bond and love between Father & Son.

After the court appearance the Judge granted an adoption order, they popped in to collect the cake on the way back as it was a surprise for the lads …….
Jack, Debbies son has now been officially adopted :)
