I wanted to showcase Egyptians’ favorite dance in this double barrel cake with a hand-painted belly dancer, lace to represent the exquisite costume material and gold jewelry that adorns all Egyptian females. The props are my own as well. Belly dancing is an expressive form of dance focusing mainly on the torso. It originated centuries ago in The Middle East and Egypt has some of the best and well-known belly dancers in the world! Including myself!! NAH, just kidding, but I DO know how to belly dance! :D LOL
