Anyone who’s known me & my hubby for more than 5 minutes knows how much we love dragons! I’m actually kind of obsessed. So when I get a chance to do a sugar dragon, first I do the Snoopy Happy Dance, then I have fun sculpting a wicked cool dragon, & of COURSE he has to be protecting his horde of gold with the charred bones of his victims scattered around. Or the other dragons would make fun of him. REALLY enjoyed creating this one, & used Flexique to make the awesomely realistic edible wings, and I will definitely be putting that to more use in the future!

My special carrot cake with cream cheese filling, & the castle walls are modeling chocolate, as is the dragon.
