I was asked to do a christening cake in royal blue and white and to have dinosaurs on. I came up with a few ideas but she like this one best. I made the carousel from scratch from 10 inch cake board and poly dummies for the centre. I used cardboard from cake box lids to do the canopy top.

It took me 2 days just to do the carousel topper. the cake is 12 and 10inch both tiers 4 inch high.

I finally finished the cake at 5.30am and then had to have it delivered with the other cake and cupcakes that were ordered with it at 9.30 am! i was a very tired bean that day let me tell you haha.

It didnt help that i also had to deliver my other cake at 10.30am lol. all in all 3 cakes and cupcakes ready for the same day…a sunday morning :(
im going to stop delivering on sunday mornings….

Ive had some sleep now haha ready to start baking my next lot!
