The pages of this cake were made with wafer paper leaves that were “aged” by curling up the edges and discoloring with ivory dust. The pages were handstamped with edible food coloring and the pages were gilded with gold edible paint. I chose a poem that expressed the love of nature in honor of the recipient and also wanted to add some foliage on the outside to complete the look. I really enjoyed making this one- thanks for looking!
