I decided to try my hand at the watercolour on fondant technique. It’s just a very soft watercolour on this cake, as there is quite a lot going on and I didn’t want it to overpower. Textured metallic and the silicon onlay from marvelous molds give detail whilst the extra height of the coral fantasy flower cascade adds drama and elegance. A fun cake to make!
