This cake was created as part of a styled shoot for a new wedding venue. The theme was very different, using Cuban colors & architecture as inspiration. Evil Cake Genius tile silkscreen stencil was PERFECT for this theme, & was a huge hit with all the vendors there. I had planned the cake to be very simple, because the florist was supposed to add flowers to it, but she wouldn’t add any except that magnificent peony on top, because she thought the cake was so detailed that it was good on its own. I take that as a compliment, but I still think hot pink flowers would have looked awesome on it. I may make some for my own display purposes!
