Think this was the fastest cake I’ve ever made. Couple of hours from start to finish! My daughter decided this morning we we celebrating my son in law’s bday tonight.. Yikes!!….Dinner & Cake.
Cake is chocolate fudge Oreo cake, filled with Oreo cookie buttercream. Covered in chocolate and yellow coloured ganache. No time or patience to smooth the ganache…so did a fast messy finish. I had a few leftover gumpaste flowers I was able to use, and had a little gumpaste Bee and Snail I made at my cake club. I popped them on for fun. Seemed to match the colour scheme.
Pleased how cake turned out on such short notice.. 🐝
